Top P.C. Hooftstraat Hotel Reviews
Clayton Hotel Amsterdam American
8/10 Good
"Extremely helpful staff, and a great location"
S&A Vondel Park Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"This is a great location for walking to the museums, and there are lots of shops and restaurants in the area. Staff were super welcoming and helpful. The rooms are smaller but think that’s the norm in Amsterdam. It’s right on a park so was quiet at night. Short walk to the tram. We enjoyed our stay."
Leonardo Hotel Amsterdam Museum Quarter
8/10 Good
"Room was clean, staff was friendly and helpful, especially the bar staff. Did not eat at the hotel. The central location was ideal but be prepared to carry bags up steep entry staircase."
The Flying Pig Uptown Hostel
8/10 Good
"My first experience in a hostel. The room was pretty much as advertised, and I wasn’t disappointed. I ended up with a nice, quiet roommate, so I was appreciative of that. The kitchen was a little bit smaller than I thought, but it was sufficient enough for my purposes. The staff were extremely helpful if I had a question, and were very knowledgeable about things to do in the area. The location of the hostel being located next to Vondel Park made it perfect for walking around and I found it pretty central to a lot of the big tourist attractions. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are travelling on a budget."
Krisotel
10/10 Excellent
"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Now I understand why Krisotel is always fully booked! At first, I was disappointed to find out that I had been assigned a basement room because the hotel was fully booked. However, after staying here, I completely understood why this place is so popular. The hotel is brand new, perfectly located, and offers an excellent combination of price, location, and service. But what truly makes this place special is the reception team. These guys are the heart and soul of the hotel, the real driving force behind its success. They follow up on every little detail and genuinely make an effort to ensure their guests have a pleasant stay. There is an elevator for the upper floors, and staff are always available to help carry luggage up and down the stairs for guests staying in the basement, where there is no elevator. Another lovely touch is the free coffee and tea available 24/7 in the lobby. I can confidently recommend Krisotel to anyone visiting Amsterdam. It offers the perfect combination of price, location, and service. Thank you, guys, for turning my initial disappointment into such a pleasant experience. Your dedication and hospitality truly make a difference! Keep up the great work!"
Hotel Cornelisz
10/10 Excellent
"Staff was helpful. Loved the location."
Dikker & Thijs Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Wonderful stay! Very helpful staff, especially Ms. Jose at the front desk, just very helpful and kind. The breakfast is amazing. Everything is so fresh and the coffee is the best one I had during my trip. I stayed at the small double room with river view. It was really enough for what we needed but there is no space on the sides of the bed to put a nightstand, just a narrow space to get up and walk, but it was not a big deal. The location is amazing, you can walk everywhere and if not you have the tram stopping 1 minute from the hotel. Also, you can't feel any street noise in the rooms, the soundproofing is excellent."
Park Centraal Amsterdam, part of Sircle Collection
8/10 Good
"The hotel is beautiful and at a perfect location, right by Vondelpark and a 20-minute walk to Dam Square. There’s also a direct bus to and from the airport which was incredible! The room was nice, the bathroom had a weird unpleasant smell and even though we asked the staff to take a look, they basically just opened a window which isn’t ideal when it’s freezing outside haha. We also found our towels and bed sheets had small stains on them but they were clean! The bed itself was super comfortable especially the pillows! Also the elevator was out of service for a whole day… But! I did love the hotel, the breakfast was so good and the staff so nice. Plus you can’t beat the location. Would for sure stay again!"
NH City Centre Amsterdam
8/10 Good
"The location can’t be beat! I really enjoyed my stay with my view of the canals and easy access to sites and transportation. Would give five stars, but I had a refrigerator that didn’t work and after reporting it there was no follow up. There was also a lot of construction going on in the lobby and at times some of the services were not available. I would stay here again."
