"Very friendly and accommodating staff. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the breakfast selection excellent. We did find our room too hot and there was a droning noise on and off all night which wasn’t related to the room itself. We mentioned it to the staff on check out and they immediately said they’d investigate. Excellent customer service throughout our stay. "

"First up, the photo of this property is entirely inaccurate. It isn’t merely that the photo is of the property a while ago - it is a photo of a different house altogether. See photos for the actual property. Rubbish piled up in a corner outside as well. The entire building smelled vaguely like cigarette smoke. It is in a fairly advanced state of neglect. We were offered a choice of two bedrooms, and the one we rejected was tiny, with peeling laminate on the floors. Ours has been documented elsewhere in these reviews (smoke alarm thankfully now in working order apparently) and while linen appeared clean and the bed was in reasonable condition, cleanliness did not seem to be a high priority with dusty corners in the bedroom. The radiator dial was also not working, and the heating was on at full blast with no way to adjust. The bathroom was completely disgusting. Black mould in the shower and ceiling, covering the grouting. The entire bathroom and shower cubicle were tiny. Dirt and grime were visible everywhere. I could not bring myself to use the shower. The only positives are the location - just by a bus stop - but there is no soundproofing so not only do you have the full traffic noise but also hear every sound and conversation from fellow residents / inmates as well… Please take a look at the photos from our stay before booking here. "Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast"

"Practically no noise isolation from the street where the music was blasting until 1am. Had very poor sleep. A day before arriving I had noticed several messages in the app asking me to confirm my stay “within 24h or my booking will be released” (aka cancelled). I had not received notifications for those and the times had passed. I shouldn’t need to confirm a booking that has already been confirmed. I’m not even sure if these messages were legitimate or scams in which case the hotel should increase its IT security. Receptionist had trouble finding my booking. Afterwards when she did, she had trouble finding that it was paid for. I had to prove it myself and she still was not convinced. Finally, the hotel itself is very simple, definitely not a 5 star hotel. It is no better (or worse) than the likes of Premier inn or travelodge. In fact in those you are guaranteed to have a good nights sleep because they make that a priority, whereas here there is no noise isolation."

"Room was very nice clean spacious well maintained. leisure club functional but not a plesant space to relax i would not call this a spa. No treatments availbale during week and no space to sit and relax by pool so more a functional business hotel"
