The room was spacious, had a comfortable bed, and great shower. It was very plain white with minimal decoration. No air conditioning, but a good floor fan that kept us sufficiently comfortable. You are given a security code for self check in and the rooms are up a staircase to the second floor. You can hear other people open and close their doors but no one bothered us. We enjoyed the nearby restaurants -- middle Eastern, Chinese, Turkish, Gelato-- and convenient shops and buses nearby. Lots of wonderful languages spoken in this area and friendly people. It's about a 15 minute walk to the tourist info as t city center where we picked up the hop on, hop off tourist bus (good idea). We'd stay there again

The photos are NOT AT ALL accurate. The place was not as advertised. The hallways were grimy, the shade on the window was tied closed so couldn’t see outside if you wanted to, although there was tea/coffee set up-only decaf was available and the milk pods were curdled. The decor was non-existent, totally barren and cold-Fluorescent overhead lighting, tiny bathroom, a larger person would not be able to fit in the shower, sitting on the toilet your knees almost touch the sink which was inches from the shower. Super thin walls- could hear every cough from my neighbor. And then the bed - it was like a cement block with a thin mattress pad over it, my body took a beating from that bed and the terrible pillows, couldn’t get comfortable so I struggled to sleep the three nights I had to stay there. Staff? What staff- Zero response from inquiries prior to arrival. The positives- check in process was simple (yet unsettling to find your room door wide open upon arrival), the room itself seemed clean, tv and WiFi worked, Although cheaper than many places in Oxford, it should have been half of what I paid- far too expensive for this experience. Do yourself a favor and Find something else.

The room was comfortable enough, albeit a bit shabby around the edges. The gentleman who greeted me was very friendly and kind. However the amount of noise from the adjacent rooms made the stay unpleasant at times - people up at all hours of the night slamming doors, yelling, etc. You could hear every sound and unfortunately the other tenants were not very considerate of others - not really the establishment's fault. Additionally the room had a bad smell any time you didn't leave the windows open. One day I came back from being out for the day and it smelled like someone had smoked a cigarette in there, which I couldn't understand how that happened.

Farid checked us in quickly and was very helpul. It's a little hard to find but in a good location for catching buses or eating out. Several nice resturarnts close by. The shower was great.
