Ozark National Scenic Riverways Tours

After setting out on an overnight float trip on the Jack's Fork river in Southeast Missouri, we were in search of a good place to camp for the night. We were able to make it nearly 12 miles down river in time to spend the night in this cave. At first glance it does not look all that big, but the ceiling at the opening is over 70 feet high, and there is a large pond fed by a waterfall in the back. To better put this picture into perspective the orange line in the cave is a sleeping pad made for a 6'5" person. Definitely one of the coolest camping spots I've ever stayed in! #Trovember #LifeAtExpedia

This spring water is crystal clear and blue for as far down as you can see. The green moss/algae that grows along the spring gives it an even more crisp color range. The old red mill is also an added bonus! There are some great hiking trails along at this park as well as camping and a launch area for floating the North Fork river. #Nature
