Checked in and sent to a room that hadn't yet been cleaned. Went back to down to desk and waited in line for a long time to get a new room because there was only one staff member there handling all check ins by herself. The elevator near our room was out of order, leaving just one functioning elevator and more waiting. The fire alarm went off right after we finally got to our new room. The hotel looks new and very nice and the room was comfortable. The one staff member was kind and apologetic. She could have definitely used some help.

My room was not cleaned. There was food on the floor along with plastic silverware and hair in the bathroom. The bed was made but had food and blood spots on the sheets. The pillow cases had drool stains on them. they gave me a second room which the floors were not vacuumed and the pillow spelt terrible. The sheets did look clean. The bathroom had strings and hair on the floor. Very disappointed! The outside was not maintained either.

The hotel was brand new. The check in staff were there to help us and all went smooth. We had a slight problem with the live TV feed not working. It was a startup issue they could not resolve but having the bar area was a better option.

The buffet breakfast was awful. The eggs were black. No different than any other continental breakfast that’s free at other places and here they were charging $16. Otherwise I would have rated them a 5.

I wrote off Motel 6 long ago, but now, maybe not!

Bed was great. Room was freezing when we entered. Tried setting the temp higher, but eventually turned off both HVAC units (we had a suite thanks to Hotels.com free night!). Or tried to. One of them is hard wired to run the fan continuously. Compressors didn't run again, but it never did get warm enough to even want them on. This is an amazing property (think: Conference Center) for a Motel 6, but covid still has all their amenities (pool, restaurant, fitness center, etc) shut down. We didn't miss the restaurant b/c there are three excellent choices within walking distance.
