Overall brilliant, however weird thing was when I returned to my room after breakfast, the staff had already been in and changed the bed and cleaned the bathroom despite my belongings being scattered around, and the room very much still occupied!!! "My husband and I spent our honeymoon here, and it was truly delightful. We were welcomed warmly and treated to lots of special touches, including lemonade at check in and chocolates at bedtime. The owner is amazingly gracious and gave us a detailed tour of the house, which is a real treat for anyone interested in historic homes. It's beautifully maintained with a spectacular garden and pool--plus the cutest chocolate labrador named Mel."

"5 star service and accommodations. Amazing grounds. Wonderful SPA!!! The thermal massage is a must do. It was very hard to get in. Book in advance when you make your reservation. We ate at both Restaurants and were disappointed with the meals. We did not do the taster menu in the ballroom but did have the duck and veal and would not order them again. The Lobster/ avocado dish was amazing. We would go back to this hotel. "
