a good place to stay at

Well… it’s Russell, KS! So it’s ok considering. 😏

Clean rooms and staff Is very nice

Check in was prompt and the clerk was polite. The room was comfortable, and so was the bed.

Staff were friendly and attentive. Greeted each time I entered the hotel. Housekeeping was extremely helpful and wonderful. Any requests wrre met quickly and with a smile.

We enjoyed the property, it was clean and easily slept all six of us.

The hotel room was simple but clean .

The property takes you back in time to the turn of the 19th century. Stairs and floors creak with character, the stairs and banister are a reminder of grandparent's home as I grew up. The breakfast was personally made and it was perfect.

Pool and hot tub were in working condition - a little on the old side. Rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. Friendly environment. Good, hot breakfast selection. Would stay there again.

This is the 2nd time we've stayed here diving from Kansas to Colorado and we will stay again. Avid is wonderful for the price. The rooms are clean I love that there is no carpet so you know the floors are clean. The breakfast is good and the staff is so friendly.

Such a nice warm welcome. Quick check in. Friendly staff. Nice pool & great grassy areas to walk the dog in. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was amazing fresh cinnamon rolls , eggs , sausage, biscuits & gravy. Been on the road for 3 days . Best place we found to stay. Would definitely recommend

Everything was wonderful. Staff was friendly and properly was clean. Would stay again!

Even though it seems mega-grody to even think about someone else - thousands of other people - using the same bedding, the pillows really are the best. You have to trust that they are cleaned properly so as not to worry about it. My ratings are high because I paid a lot and everything looked brand new, I saw nothing amiss. Very clean and a great breakfast! Great value for the price

This place is amazing, truly. Walked in and the first thing I noticed was it smelt amazing, refreshing, and CLEAN. The young gentleman who checked me in was friendly, prompt, knew what he was doing, informative and just all around a pleasure to interact with! walked into my room and felt good about staying here. I felt safe especially being a solo woman traveler. it’s updated and is just what I needed to make my last push to colorado. Thank you Kansas! I recommend everyone stay here even though...
