"Room was clean, view was lovely. The attitude of all except two of the staff was below hospitality standard. Lack of friendliness, interest in the guest, no bend over backwards approach. I have run many hospitality venues, from restaurants to having the directorship of an island resort in the Pacific and to me the only ingredient missing from your hotel is engagement with the guest, a smile, a how are you, an interest in the person in front of them. The only person I encountered who was truly hospitable was a young male barman. "

"We had a 7 day stay we came for our daughter's Wedding - check in was easy, reception staff were lovely and helpful but when it came to our room it didn't take long before we were started to wonder as to when it was last cleaned?? everywhere we looked in our room it was covered in dust - skirting boards, top of fridge every piece of artwork, top of our bed, all around the toilet, we had cobwebs above our curtains, and the dryer filter was full. Our air conditioners weren't cooling the room properly we got told just to turn them down but on further inspection aircon filters were blocked full of dust. I spoke to the 2IC on Sun re: our concerns about our room (except for the aircons this we learnt at a later stage) We were given 2 options 1. They would do a thorough clean of the room the next day or 2. we could leave and go somewhere else; we told them that we would talk about it and let them know our decision the next morning. Our decision was to stay and for them to thoroughly clean the room. We left early the next morning off to do wedding shopping on our return the room had been made up but none of our room concerns had been done. I guess l had insulted them asking for a duster? no duster just both Managers. The manager seemed upset with us and made us feel bad for our complaint l explained our house isn't this unclean. And it wasn't just our room, the passageway just as dirty got told my room is my only concern. We left a day earlier with nothing from them,"

"Hotel is in an excellent location in Hurstville, I occupied the room with small private bathroom which includes just a tiny wash basin no real outside view from only window in the room and reasonably good shower. Lots of other rooms along a long corridor are not entirely sound proof, could hear other arrivals conversations at times whilst commencing my sleep. Plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits bathroom soaps. Fair value for money"

"Good twin room. Clean and spacious. Window view of beach and golf course. Lucked out with car park space outside the hotel for free. Hotel does its own for $25 or in the WIN Stadium car park. You can also park on the side streets before and after 7 for free."
