「Wonderful stay in Varzo! Lovely mother and daughter hosts. Delicious homemade breakfast and very comfortable room with a nice view. Right down the hill from San Domenico ski area with excellent scenic hiking. Would recommend Chalet Il Picchio to all!」

「Clean room with refrigerator. Spacious . Good location. Can walk to everything. Close to stores and restaurants. 10 minute walk to train station.」

「Spacious double king suite. Nice and quiet. Would visit again」

「What a beautiful little hidden gem in the heart of Quarna Sotto- the hosts were so friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were excellent with freshly baked treats each morning- the area is beautiful - so peaceful and remote and is ideally placed for exploring the lake and the mountains we would definitely love to return- just perfect!」

「Zu Eng Wc/Dusche.. Zimmer war zu heiss. Konnten nicht schlafen. Automaten alles war abgelaufen sogar von 2025! Parkplatz vorhanden.」

「The owner is very warm and considerate. We arrived later than the time we told her and she called us to check was everything ok. She also gave us an ipad with a lot of site visit suggestions and great restaurants recommendations which are really helpful. Her mother is also very nice and welcomed us with a coffee from their fancy app and superb machine. Rooms are clean and uniquely designed, while hotel is just 5 minutes walk away from centre.」
