"The cottage itself is lovely, and has a lot of potential. It’s a large cottage which accomodates 5. Lighting wasn’t working in all rooms which was a nuisance and the facilities in the kitchen were dirty and not maintained well. Oven and stove worked, coffee machine filthy. Given that you would hire a cottage to do self catering, it wasn’t one of the better cottages we have stayed in. We found it a cold welcoming, no welcome note, only a small box of biscuits on entry. "Highly recommend me and my husband definitely coming back and we been to a few hotel in Weymouth but this hotel Fairhaven we both said we definitely coming back here is our new location stay. Hotel in great location in main sea front and beach view. Staff are super friendly and helpful. We was in deluxe double room sea view and was decent size, very clean. "

"Had a good stay. However i found the bed to be very hard and the property to be very dated. Everything was very clean, but the 1st impression wasn't what i had hoped for. The location is wonderful, a great beach within a few minutes walk. Staff were all lovely. However for me it is time to renevate, starting with the rooms and their furniture. I did not try the extended facilities such as the spa, so can't comment."

"Hotel is in great location but the car park is a public car park. So in busy times you could end up with no space although it’s a large car park. And it’s rough, loose stones and not flat. The staff are lovely, very helpful. We had a lovely sea view room, comfortable bed, nice bedding, not huge and the en suite is quite snug, but lovely and clean and modern. Nice to have cooked to order breakfast, overall a good place to stay."

"Stayed a couple.of nights in a family room - this had two separate spacious bedrooms, each with their own tea/coffee and TV facilities which was well stocked. Although there wasn't a sea view from our room, the view over swanage and surrounding hills was still lovely and provided some stunning sunsets. The hotel itself was clean and tidy and staff were welcoming and attentive. Breakfast was also well catered, and the beach was a short walk away albeit via a couple of steep routes down the cliff. Swanage town and seafront was a couple of minutes by car. My only gripe would be the room was very warm, on arrival we found the radiator set to maximum which wasn't necessary given the bank holiday weather, but this was soon turned down and cooled with the provided fans. Overall, I would recommended this hotel and look forward to planning another short stay later in the year."

"Perfect place to stay if you’re in the area. We had a twin room, which was a good size and had a full bath tub with soaps, shower gels and shampoo. Tea/coffee making facilities and free bottled water. The rooms are attached to wonderful pub, the staff are super friendly and the food served there is excellent. Definitely make a bee line for the roast lamb if you’re there on a Sunday. Plenty of choice for breakfast. My only wish would be the option to have a hot breakfast, but for the price of the stay there’s no way to moan about that. Would stay at the Frampton Arms again in a heartbeat. Great stay"
