Overall everything is nice. Nice and spacious rooms, friendly staff and nice breakfasts! My only complaint is the noise from the street downstairs. Will be good to have some sort of sound blocking measures.

My recent stay was fantastic! The staff's friendliness and helpfulness were exceptional. The hotel's location - connected to the train station and near both Opera House and Munch Museum - was perfect. The ample charging options in the room were a thoughtful touch. While compact, the room was clean and quiet. Highly recommended!

The room was a bit small but it had everything we needed, excellent bathroom facilities, places for luggage, coffee and tea, a good shower. The location is excellent for the opera and the Munch Museum and transportation is easy for other parts of Oslo. We liked this hotel very much. Also an excellent breakfast and good restaurants nearby. Everything looks very new in this area. And it is next to the train station.

Fantastic location between Oslo S transport hub and the Opera House. Walking distance to the historic centre and the Munch museum. Sadly, the new buildings, opposite, block the Fjord view - but glimpses still possible from the hotel's 4th floor terrace. Rooms, staff and breakfast all excellent. Some confusion as to where drinks from the bar can be served/consumed - but this seems to be Norwegian Law rather than an issue the hotel can address.

This hotel is so conveniently located, literally next to Oslo Central Station. There is a nice big square, a beautiful view of the opera house & harbor, and the venue & food spot Salt is just a short walk. The hotel itself offered an incredibly diverse, huge, delicious breakfast including the full English, American favorites, fresh pastries, omelettes made-to-order, smoked fish, a cheese board, an espresso bar, and more. The beds were very comfortable, and the staff were kind & helpful. Everything was clean & so quiet. The only thing I can "complain" about is the smaller size of the room, but we knew the dimensions when we booked our stay & didn't care because of how the benefits outweighed that.

Weren't able to go on our vacation due to an injury my wife suffered the evening before our flight. They denied any refund citing their policy. Seems like a robbery without a weapon. Had to file an insurance claim. Will plan another trip but definitely will not stay here.

Location right next to Oslo Central Train Station and across the street from all the fabulous new architecture, including the Opera House and Munch Museum, is excellent. All the wonderful Oslo public transport is available right in front of Central Station. Very easy to connect with the city’s highlights. The hotel includes a very nice breakfast buffet. Its location also offers easy access to the Flytoget bus or train to Oslo International Airport.

The Thon Hotel Opera has a fantastic location. It’s right next to the train station so it’s easy to get to the airport by train. It’s easy to walk to so many attractions or to take public transportation. The rooms are comfortable, clean and roomy. The breakfast is fantastic! Would return the next time we’re in Oslo!
