The property itself was great - the lobby was very nice, there are bikes to rent outside, staff were friendly and professional, and there is coin laundry available for use.
I had a room with no housekeeping, which was perfectly fine for my use – they left a new package of towels every morning outside the door, and you could leave your dirty towels outside to exchange, or just keep them in the room until checkout if you didn't use them all/aren't staying too long/etc.
I was easily able to store luggage before checkin and after checkout to get them off my hands to enjoy the rest of my day even if I couldn't access the room during the time.
The only caveat I would say is that location-wise, the Shinsaibashi area at night is quite different from daytime I would say. It is very convenient to go around, but, while it was never explicitly unsafe, if you are a solo female traveller, the crowds that are out at night could possibly make you feel uncomfortable, and might be something to keep in mind.
