It would be great if they gave two key card for two of us and the fridge is working properly. Staff is very helpful and replace the fridge right away but the new one cannot keep cool either. So I have to drink beer at room temperature.

Located in the middle of the Dotonburi district. Lots of great shopping and food within easy walking distance. Very friendly staff and helpful. Rooms are small but typical for the area. Clean and quiet. Comfortable mattress. Great value. Would recommend and stay again

Good location. Close to Dotonbori, but area dirty and smells bad. The hotel is not clean and the restaurant on the premises has poor breakfast buffet.

Extremely convenient and clean premises. Please note that there is no room cleaning no matter how long you stay - only new towels and you leave your garbage can out to be cleared. English was weak.

You can see Don Quijote from your window. You are in the heart of Dotonbori, specifically, one block from the main bridge with the Glico Running Man. That being said, it can be loud until midnight. The city starts late, and goes on through the night. If you are a light sleeper, I'd recommend requesting a room that is not facing the main street. Overall, it was a great stay. Short walks to the subway, and endless food options. Room was ok, the bathroom was clean, but I found some old slippers under the bed. There is no housekeeping, you have to put your trash and towels outside your door before you leave for the day. The attendant will replenish your towels and hang them in a bag on your door handle. Laundry is only available in the lobby and there is only 2 washers and 2 dryers. If you plan to visit adjacent cities in the Kansai region like Kyoto and Nara, making Osaka your hub is a great option.

Dotonbori Stay
Alrught, the location is the best part of this hotel. I will give it 10/10 on location. It is very close to Osaka Castle, Namba station, Dotonbori and Kuromon Market. I liked this part the most. Let’s get into some of the other deciding factors. The hotel smelled from the minute we walked in, like there was a sewage issue or something with the plumbing, we were there a total of 3 days and 2 of those days had this smell even in our room. The hotel staff was very nice, they held our bags for us after checkout. Customer service is great. The only issue was the smell.

Spacey and convenient
So much more space than other hotels we've been in at the same price range. The location was excellent. Default no cleaning which we didn't need anyway but they provided towels everyday without needing to request it so it's great. Only improvement is providing the number of towels for the same number of occupants.

A nice place to stay besides one bad apple...
The hotel was nice and in a good location. The rooms were pretty small but not out of the ordinary for Japan. Most of the staff was very pleasant and helpful except for one person. I didn't catch his name but he did work the evening/night shift. He was a short, fairly pudgy guy who wore glasses. We had wanted to send some of our luggage to Kansai airport before we left, as to make our way back to the airport a little easier. The hotel's advertisement in the room clearly stated that such a luggage service was available. We had inquired with one of the girls and she said that we would need to have whatever bags we wanted to send to the airport available by 11 a.m. the day before our flight. A couple of days later my cousin who is born and raised in Japan joined us for the weekend. Since he is fluent in Japanese I had him double check with this guy. I wouldn't say he was rude but he insisted over and over again that there is no such service. A blatant lie. In fact, over the course of our stay I witnessed luggage being being up and dropped off by a service. The other issue I had was that the website states japanese/english speaking. None of them seemed to really understand english. Other than that, it was a really nice place to stay. It's too bad one bad apple can put a damper on an otherwise nice stay.

Terrible experience. It was a headache to communicate with a non english front desk staff. Room was so small, amenities are limited, towels are so small and I got an eye infection probably from their pillows or towels. As much as it’s accessible to shopping place, the hotel area at day and night is not safe: it’s close-by prostitution clubs. I will NEVER go back to this hotel.

The property itself was great - the lobby was very nice, there are bikes to rent outside, staff were friendly and professional, and there is coin laundry available for use. I had a room with no housekeeping, which was perfectly fine for my use – they left a new package of towels every morning outside the door, and you could leave your dirty towels outside to exchange, or just keep them in the room until checkout if you didn't use them all/aren't staying too long/etc. I was easily able to store luggage before checkin and after checkout to get them off my hands to enjoy the rest of my day even if I couldn't access the room during the time. The only caveat I would say is that location-wise, the Shinsaibashi area at night is quite different from daytime I would say. It is very convenient to go around, but, while it was never explicitly unsafe, if you are a solo female traveller, the crowds that are out at night could possibly make you feel uncomfortable, and might be something to keep in mind.

Like the hotel .. very good ..but. 10am check out!
Thought it was great for the price .. liked the location ..would go again ..except for one huge huge huge drawback Checkout time is 10am ..instead of 11 am ..which every other hotel in shinsaibashi has and you need that extra hours sleep when ur going out all night

Wished hotel looks into the basic supply of some bottled water like all the hotels we stayed in during this trip; if not, at least for the initial check-in so as to give guests the convenience. Upkeep can be improved. Quiet location but very convenient to everything!

There is construction work next door and it will go on for quite a while because it is in the demolition phrase. Good thing is that it stops at 5pm and on weekends. So make sure you get a room away from the construction work side. Location of hotel is in close proximity of the shopping arcade and short walkway distance fo subway.

Room is dirty. The facilities are old and dirty too. Even the water cups in the room are not clean. The washers and dryers in the laundry are old and didn't work well.

Construction right behind hotel be aware
Hotel was centrally located to all we wanted to see and do during our short time in Osaka. Hotel was very clean and seemed nice until the first morning we were there. There was a construction site behind the hotel with drills waking us up at 8am both mornings we were there. The hotel should have had a warning on their site or should have at least placed us on the opposite side facing away from the construction. If you want to be able to sleep in I would suggest not staying here for at least another year as they were just breaking ground.
