It was a great hotel with plenty of amenities. The only slight downsize was the bed however we had booked a double and it was definitely that. The room was small but it did the job.

Very modern approach. Friendly and helpful staff. Spacious room which was very comfortable and well presented. Close to Metro station which was great.

The room was very dusty and stuffy. My partner and I both have suffered some kind of weird rash/bites from something unexplainable from the room, itchiness etc. The room smelt very damp so we had the windows open to try and air out the smells. The toilet smelt heavily like cigarettes the entire time. Apart from that, was ok, bar/service staff were a little uninviting when approached and didn’t seem interested in talking.

This hotel is super nice! Friendly and helpful staff. Close by the train station and 7/11 is right around the corner which is a plus! The hotel itself felt very clean and it was quiet and felt safe. Would definitely come back here!

Property was in a great location and a very lively hotel. Food was amazing both dinner and breakfast at the restaurant and staff was very helpful. There was a lot of foreigners from both Europe and America. I highly recommend this place!

Staff very friendly. Beautiful room cleaned daily. Luggage checked upon arrival then delivered to room. Happy hour 5:30-6:30 with free beer. Complimentary espresso on 2nd floor during breakfast hours. Close to H and C lines. Short walk to M line. Most attractions are off these lines. Highly recommend.

What a unique and modern hotel! The rooms are on the small side, but anyone who has traveled to Europe will feel the room size is similar. Breakfast was pretty good, too! Overall very happy with our stay!

Nice on the whole but a few quibbles. Not great for Gluten Free. Told the about allergy but no breakfast options available at all. I could have French toast with Fruit Salad but without the French toast. So all that was available was a small cup of fruit salad for the price of a breakfast. The roof top bar is just a balcony next to the air conditioning units with 3 small tables. My wife asked about a hairdryer at check-in and was told they rent Dyson hairdryers for 500 yen a day extra so she rented one. When we got to the room there was a hairdryer already in the room. So we rented a premium one for no reason..

Really want to love this hotel but a few things were a shame. Double superior room has small double bed that was dipping to the middle, shame as we loved the room design. Main bar was available 1 night of our 5 night stay as they had bookings. They have a cash exchange machine, great idea but wasn't working, we tried twice. They offer vouchers 500yen for no cleaning but replacement towels, doesn't include water. Great idea but water with the towels would be super. On the plus the staff are very friendly, they have a free beer happy hour in the first floor chill out area. Also enjoyed a few games of pool. Hotel has a great atmosphere, very modern feel and is well placed.

Stayed two separate times over a 2 week period. On one occasion the bar was booked out all evening for a function and on another the lounge was booked out all day. Not a good experience to stay at a hotel and then find facilities you were going to use are not available to you with no alternative offered

We enjoyed our stay at the Lively very much. It’s close to mass transit as well as very walkable to City sites. The breakfast is tasty and the happy hour free beer was fun, after exploring Osaka. Lots of indoor and outdoor lounge areas to choose from. Our premium king room was spacious and comfortable with nice City Skyline views. We’ll be back.
