The hotel is in a convenient location and the staff are friendly. However the area is sketchy AF. We heard a ton of commotion our first night that included the phrase "put your hands up" multiple times...It has also been the TINIEST room we have ever seen. There were also some funky smells throughout the hotel and breakfast buffet was absolutely not worth the added cost.

No option to control the AC as it is up to the hotel discretion. Only way to cool the room was to open window which was facing directly to surrounding buildings and it gets pretty loud outside. Definitely should have stated clearly in the hotel’s description that guests have no option to control AC in room. Convenient location near Dotonbori. Although location of the hotel is right in the middle of major tourist area surprisingly staff do not speak any English.

If you are looking for a freat place to stay at close to the party then this is it. Rooms are small and tight but in a very logical and convenient way. You get used to it after a bit. The hotel is 2 blocks from Dotonbori and 5 minutes from the train station. Anytime you wanted to do anything you were a hop skip and away from anything you wanted be it food or travel to get out. Having a hotel so close while out exporing the wonderful food scenery of Osaka was absolutely fantastic.

This hotel is in the best location possible in Osaka. Right on the Riverwalk, in Namba. Lots of things going on. Lots of restaurants amd the staff is wonderful.

This hotel was very small rooms. I have been in Japan traveling 1 month and this hotel room was the smallest. The TV had movie option but the volume was not loud and could not turn up.

it does the job
great hotel. rooms are lil small side but its Japan so.... I was there by myself, it could fit 2 people but might be a lil tight though doable if budget tight. No heater or AC but it wasnt a problem , not sure why people mad about noise or whatever as its pretty tucked in , corner -- about 5 mins walk to Dotonbori. and Namba station also near by.

This is a typical 'salaryman' hotel. This seems to be a newer hotel with slightly newer facilities. It's a small business hotel but comfortable. Since most of the time is spent outside, the small space is not really a big deal. I would stay here again.

I was so surprised when we showed up to the hotel. It was quite a walk from the station. Location was busy, noisy and dirty but the hotel itself was nice. Rooms were super small. Luggage’s always had to be open on the bed. Expedia says air conditioner, however when we went in November. The room was hot and they said it was centrally controlled and the only option was fan and heat. Staff informed us to open the window, the noise outside was insane and something you can not sleep with.

Great location in Dotonbori but still nice and quiet. Has all the standard offerings you can expect from an APA hotel. Staff were very friendly, and they have coin laundry which was useful. Rooms are relatively small, which isn't unusual for Japan and was still good value. Near the Namba metro station which was convenient for a day trip to Koya-san, though a few stops away if you want to take the Shinkasen anywhere. Overall had a good experience and would stay again.

I would have rated it 5 stars but there was an issue with the air conditioning & the fact that it was centralized and could only be put on a heating or fan option. My group rented 6 rooms & to keep cool while in our rooms, we were literally told to "open the window" which of course we could hear so much noise from outside when after a long day being out, a peaceful sleep was much needed. This information about the air conditioning should be told in the hotel's description even if it's just a seasonal thing.

The room is small but clean . I guess most of the room in Japan is small compare to USA. The location is excellent , few minutes walk to subway and shopping. Staffs are very helpful , I will come back again .

Great location, prompt staff and though basic, the hotel meets the needs. Would help if the hotel specified which train station/metro exit (with escalators) to use though.

This hotel is the BEST location! Close to transit station and Dotobori - about 5-10 min walk. Be prepared for compact hotel room, like really compact. But, bed is comfortable. Would go back to this hotel!

The place is good and convenient. The room isn’t much place to move ,also the sink is small and the water pipe are there. Very easy to hit the face when you wash.
