「Highly recommend The Retreat hotel! It was gorgeous and the views breath taking. The staff was very attentive and kind. Will definitely go again. The tours were over priced though. ~400 per tour and while the locations were beautiful it was not worth that much money. Also note there is no food you can buy except for in the restaurants there. So grab some snack at the airport. But highly recommend this place. Even in the rainy season it was amazing 」

「AMAZINGLY customer service oriented. Bereníce, staff, SO attentive, kind & thorough. Prior to arrival, resort administrator engaged to make personalized arrangements. Wifi steady & stable. Jacuzzi a plus. For arrival, standard vehicle OK (albeit slow w potholes with some portions being unpaved roads), but 4x4 might be helpful. Highly recommend to get away from it all to chill. I travel a lot, and I would go back. 」

「It was very old school.and it was not what I expected. Quite a unique experience because it is so remote. No regrets, you mighr want a 4 wheel drive. I was treated like a VIP.」

「Oh my gosh, this place is absolutely breathtaking! Sitting under the covered patio during the afternoon showers was so relaxing. We saw over 40 species of birds on the property. The property is situated so you can see all the macaws flying over the water to roost each night. We absolutely loved this spot!」

「Our flight was diverted due to weather, causing a 5 hour delay so we were not actually able to stay overnight but staff kindly let us hang out in the morning and enjoy our breakfast. The breakfast was super tasty and filling. Two scarlet macaws ate bananas at the feeders while we had our breakfast. Such a cool experience!」
