This is a great place to stay with a large family. The grounds are beautiful and the front end staff is awesome. ONLY COMPLAINT I have is there is a major disconnect between the front desk and house keeping. We were given our key and went to our room, walked in and the cleaner was just beginning. The cleaner then took 2 hours. We were given 4 large towels for 8 guests. No face clothes or handtowels. The pull out sofa bed linens are not supplied and are available on request. At 10pm I found this out. It took 1.5 hours for housekeeping to get me sheets and blankets, they were out of pillows. The front desk was very apologetic for the house keeping and made sure we got a set of towels for each person registered to the room. This would not stop me from staying here again, just be proactive that it doesnt happen again.

Very nice, fairly secluded property. It is about 6 miles from Disney properties further to the south west in a newly built up area with alot of shopping, restaurants, and fun activities. The on property water park is alot of fun. Recommend asking them for bldg 3, because the water park is right out the back door of 3. The only thing is that the name is deceiving. It is 40 minutes away from Orlando. It is actually in Winter Park FL. The traffic to go to the International Drive area of Orlando is TERRIBLE.

I'm still waiting to get my money back on my credit card, i was also charged for a towel, that i called them about to let them know, i only received 5 towels not 6, so i couldn't return six. If i do not receive my hold fee, I'm contacting my brother in law the attorney. When i went to check out at 2:45 a.m. the systems were down and the security guard, not a guest representative said they will email me in the morning. I cannot get through on the phone. Can anyone help me? Please

Property was nice, spacious and clean. Restaurants are a little pricey, but other than that my family enjoyed their stay. My children had fun in the water park and arcade. We will be returning soon!

This was our second time visiting The Grove, and we loved it even more than the first visit! We got to spend more time at the surfari water park, and hang out in the lazy river. Our 3 bedroom condo was fantastic! It was well laid out, clean and in a quiet corner. We loved it! We can’t wait to return for another visit!

Just thought it could be a lot cleaner. Room was kinda dirty floors needed to be vacuumed. Stains on all the towels and on the window drapes. For as much money as they got pouring in they could use some of it to upgrade room cleanliness

In no particular order: -Beautiful property -very large suites -9-17 minutes away from all Disney properties -plenty of travel needs at the lobby store -gardens very well kept and beautiful The only thing I will comment on was that on two different occasions, neither of which I actually understood why it happened, I spoke to two members of their staff and neither spoke English well enough to ask me what they wanted/needed or understand what I had said. Perfectly understandable to not be fluent in English BUT if you are expecting to speak with guests, you should have someone that speaks English as best as possible, to do that. English is the primary language in the USA, after all. When I checked in, it could have been easily asked or discerned that I, and my family, speak English. This does not reflect poorly on this very, very positive review. Just an observation.

I have been to many resorts in the Orlando Disney World surrounding areas. The Grove have been on my bucket list to visit, but it was quite disappointing very expensive for what offered no towel. Service in the room no room service of any kind and no delivery service allowed to come to your room.

The property is very convenient and the pool area is great. I have stayed here many times and this was the most unpleasant. The internet service in Bldg 2 where i was located was virtually non-existant. We bring our firestick, so the kids can watch disney plus, netflix etc. They were unable to using both the guest and the premium wifi. No towels or handsoap in the room when we arrived. 5 night stay and we had to constantly ask to change towels. No towels at the pool at all. You used to be able to get towels and exchange at the pool. Now the pool towels are in your room when you check in and the only way to get a dry towel at the end of a pool day is via housekeep (which is not at the pool). This policy just does not work. Lastly, every night we endured the smell of marijuana. Hotel needs to better monitor the non-smoking policy.

The first time I stayed here, it was amazing. From check in to check out. This stay I was met with a room downgrade that I wasn’t even notified of until I asked was I being put in the room I prepaid for. The staff member then proceeded to tell me that I was downgraded because they didn’t have the room I reserved available. And that depending on how early you check in, can effect if the room that was reserved is still available to you. I paid for a lake view and got green electrical boxes right outside my window and patio. When I checked back the next morning, a supervisor, his named started with the letter ‘M’, was very understanding and got my room switched to what I paid for. During the process, I also saw someone at the desk checking in, having the same issue I did. Being downgraded from the room they prepaid for without being notified.

We stayed at The Grove for 4 nights. We got 3 BD 3 Bath condo. Overall it was a good experience. Some noise in the am from the people cleaning the green areas woke some of us up 2/4 nights (we were on the second floor). Late check out was at 11am, nothing later was available. The bed in the master was very uncomfortable to not day say broken. Kids loved the water park and will recommend to try their passion fruit smoothie at the bar. Arcade was perfect for the kids.

Overall a great stay. The room was a little dirty (hair on the floors in the bathroom, no towels were provided upon our arrival and a large bag of dirty towels and sheets left in our room). Staff quickly responded and rectified the towel issue. Great time for the kids in the pool areas and the Valencia and Longboard had excellent food and drinks. Would definitely recommended and are planning another stay there!

Our suite was clean and had everything we needed. We needed some extra blankets and pillows for the sleeper couch and they brought it right away. Staff was professional, nice, prompt and attentive. However, I found the layout of this resort to be challenging to navigate and just not the most convenient for getting around the place. I also found the water park to be disappointing. I would really just call it an enhanced pool and play experience. There was no wave pool, only two slides and the Flow Rider costs extra. The lazy river was the best part. Finding seating was hard unless you paid extra for premium seating. The cabanas were overpriced for their size and amenities.

All of the staff members were absolutely lovely and the room was very clean. The furniture in the room was a little beat up, we could have used more blankets and TP, and the lazy river could have been a little cleaner. Also, the food wasn’t great. But, overall, it was a great stay, the pools and water park were awesome to have, and I would definitely stay there again. A for the friendly staff! It must take a lot of effort to run this place.

Unfortunately we were really excited to visit this resort as a staycation. The website looked great. The room was dirty when we checked in, the pull out couch had chips and crumbs all over it. I had asked for a vacuum twice (at 11pm)and by 1 am I gave up and brushed the crumbs to the floor so my kids can go to sleep. The pools are GROSS!! Every single pool and including the water park was so dirty. The staff is sweet, I didn’t have any issues other than the vacuum I never got. Drinks was good. Pizza was delicious.

The rooms were gorgeous and very spacious. I loved having a kitchen and washer/dryer. The screened balcony was also a great perk. The room is 5 stars. The service, however, left a lot to be desired. They didn't offer to help us with our luggage to the room. There is no room service unless you stay for 8 days. You have to call to have garbage removed or fresh towels. You are expected to wash your own pool towels if you want clean ones, but they don't provide detergent. There is no backup toilet paper we had to call twice to get more. The waterpark is small but really nice and it's nice to have a hot tub accessible for evenings.

A nice vacation rental that is great for families. We loved having a full kitchen and spacious bathrooms. The mattress leaves much to be desired but then again I’m picky. Easy to get to a lot of attractions if you are willing to drive a few minutes.

Size of rooms was fabulous. However, very confusing layout. Need more maps. Staff not super helpful. It is a no frills resort in terms of no Kleenex, lotion, shower cap kinda extras in the room. There was shampoo and conditioner but the bottles didn’t work. Hair on the floor- could have used a good vacuuming. We minded because we have a crawler and 3 yr old. Water park was nice. Drinks expensive and watered down- stick with beer. Long lines for drinks. Servers come by occasionally if you are lucky. Locations was convenient as well. Not super noise. Check in was long.

Hot tub was disgusting, very dirty. Lazy river was very dirty. 2 swimming pools were clean. Room- bathroom sinks clogged, simply running water did not drain. Bedroom blankets were not provided until asked for. Bathrooms needed to be cleaned, furniture dusty. Horrible time trying to find our room, every time. Arrows to direct room number not accurate smfh.never seen anything like it, very confusing. BESt poolside cocktails, burger too salty. Close to Disney. Beautiful property grounds to walk around. Snake & alligator sighting at property pond.

The resort is beautiful. The property is clean. There are always workers around cleaning and doing yard work. Very nice. If you have kids, this is definitely a good place to stay. The arcade, pool, and the water park are super fun. I will say the front desk employees can be a little more educated when it comes to customer service. Dining options are not too many at all inside the resort. We stepped out for lunch and dinner our entire stay. So lastly, finding your way around to an elevator or to your room is incredibly difficult. There are no signs anywhere as to where the ELEVATORS are located. We got the hang of it probably on our 3rd day. There are 4 buildings and four elevators. They need to do something about that. Other than that, everything was great. I really enjoyed it.

the location is far from local areas so they totally ober price everything. they charged me for like 4 food orders due to an error on their end and were hesitant to fix it. when i arrived my roomsmelled like cigarettes and flared up my asthma and i requested a room change and they didnt even bother to call me back or accommodate me . so i had to sleep with the balcony door open the whole time . not the best experience especially for how nice it looks

Overall great trip here. Facility good. Staff at fishing area awesome. Towel charge to your room if you leave your towel at the pool. Would come back but needs more options for food/transport and nickel and diming guests
