Front desk was nice but over worked. Waited over 20 minutes in line for check in with only about 5 groups in front of me. Seems the hotel may be overbooked. I booked a suite with expedia over a week ago, paid in full, upon check-in, the hotel staff had to "find me a room" but also charged me in full for the room (i already paid in full to through expedia), and the room was not the suite I had reserved. The hotel claims after I check out, expedia will just release all the money I gave them for the room, but I talked with expedia and they said that is absolutely NOT the case. For 2 days now expedia has been unable to get someone from the hotel to respond to them. As far as the room, other than not being the suite I reserved it smells musty, but other than that its a functional hotel room, however Wifi was non-functional the whole first day which is not optimal seeming as this is a business trip. I have spoken to the desk a few times about this double charging, but each time they disappear for a few minutes come back and assure me I have not been double charged (I most certainly have), and offer me free breakfast, which I decline as I simply do not want the double charges. I don't even mind that it's not the room I requested. Just don't double charge me and be honest please. Expedia has attempted to contact them but no one from the hotel will respond.
