Excellent location. Friendly staff and nice grounds. À diamond in the rough. The Old Monastery has good vibes. Pool was a great. Grocery store close and à 10 minute walk to Renaissance centre. Safe neighbourhood. Also able to walk to Surfside beach.

This property was sooo beautiful . I felt very safe and comfortable . Irma gave us a great greeting and was super helpful with places to go and where to eat. I will stay here every time I visit Aruba.

The pictures are different than the actual.property. Very limited amenties provided. No microwave. The pool.and room.were clean, however my room was extremely outdated. My sink was made of concrete cement, which added a little authentic charm. I was informed they were out of clean towels and needed to wait 2 days until someone would give me more towels. The woman who checked me in only spoke Spanish, which I understood some of, however a lot of information was missed. The neighborhood is kind of sketch, however I felt pretty safe most nights walking to nearby establishments. It was about a 20 minute walk to downtown Oranjasted. There were some nearby food and shopping options. It was pretty quiet most days.

Safe, basic,inexpensive downtown option. Walking distance to grocery stores and restaurants. I walked to the marina daily for scuba diving. The room had concrete floors, countertops and sinks.. Decent beds and TV. No bar or restaurant on site. Past it’s heyday. For a 72 year old solo traveler it was Okay.

I enjoyed the quietness of the property, and the security it provided. Everyone was great with the communication and Ms. Irma is a gem. I would recommend if you are staying here to get a rental as sometimes taxis aren’t available and it is a few minutes from downtown. Would definitely stay here again.

The property’s location was convenient, just a short walk from the shopping street and close to the beach. The room was spacious and beautiful, with a wood paneled room. The staff was very friendly and helpful, answering all my questions as a seasoned traveler. I felt very safe there and would definitely recommend it.

I enjoyed my stay in this apartment. The price is good and you will be helped with whatever you need. I will recommend you USE WHATSAPP to communicate if the owner and she will do her best to help you. The local supermarket is very economical due to the pricing being for the locals and it’s literally a 8 minute walk to beach or tourist plaza.

The property needs to be updated but it gave a rustic vibe. The host was very nice and always helped. she provided good taxi service companies and map app that helps you get around. Everything touristy is 10-15 min walk away from the property.

The aparthotel is in a rough shape, it needs some remodeling. There is no parking area so be mindful of that when booking. The pool was old but nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and for that reason I gave it a 3 star, for the staff, if not I would have given a 2 star.

The place is nice and clean. Our room was on the second floor was very aesthetically pleasing. Lots of power outlets in the room, which is great. The housekeeping lady is wonderful at maintaining the property. We got fresh towels everyday. The water pressure in the shower is great, and the pool on the property was nice and clean as well, which we appreciate. The area could’ve been a little quieter, the internet at the hotel itself was really spotty and weak, and the place was listed as “breakfast available” with a fee, but that wasn’t the case when we arrived. The listing on Expedia even had photos of breakfast. But overall it was a great experience, place in a very convenient location close to city, restaurants and beaches

I like the place a little bit because is a silent place. The Lady was very good with us. I don’t like that in Expedia they have picture of a place that have breakfast, Bar and other stuff, but when you get there you feel that they still your money. And also they have to take 100 Dollars that I don’t know why, if we paying for something that we don’t expect. I went there with an amount of money that I am going to spend and I finished with nothing on my package. Because I went there knowing that I have breakfast that the only thing that I have to buy is lunch, but nothing was like I was expecting.

I want my money back I was unable to stay on that place. Expectation: In accordance with the pictures included on the Expedia website, the Hotel Perle D'or City Apartments is a comfortable, clean, and adequate place to stay. Additionally, I would like to mention that we were two persons, and according to the cleaner, due to restructuring, it was difficult to provide clean towels for more than one person on that day. I am writing to formally request a refund for my reservation at the Hotel Perle D'or City Apartments from June 6, 2025, to June 9, 2025. Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was far from satisfactory, and I believe a refund is warranted due to the following issues: Misrepresentation: The hotel is listed on the Expedia website, but the images uploaded do not accurately reflect the current condition of the property. The hotel is in poor condition and urgently needs renovation. According to the manager, it will be closing at the end of the month due to the inability to sustain operations in such bad conditions. The hotel was not clean, and there were numerous items cluttering the space, with several areas broken or in disrepair. Health Concerns: I suffer from asthma, which includes inflammation of the airways. Given my condition, it is extremely difficult for me to stay in a place that is filthy and not well-maintained. During my short visit, I became ill and experienced significant difficulty breathing. Still sick at writing this feedback
