Room was clean. I've stayed here numerous times and have never had an issue with the room not being clean. My issues that will make me go elsewhere now are the EXTREME PAPER THIN WALLS you can literally hear EVERYTHING. Also, I love they allow pets but to not get any sleep because of barking all day and night is NOT ok. Management did nothing. If I heard it I'm sure they did too. If I can hear someone sneeze, cough, unzip their bags and their whole conversations something is wrong. Too much money to have to deal with that. Staff is always pleasant.

The staff was courteous and we were able to check in at 2:00 PM. All the rooms are on the ground floor with parking directly in front of the units, which was very convenient. The room was clean (similar layout to the Santee Best Western) with air conditioning (which probably could do with updating). The and furniture looked like it has been updated, with a large mini fridge & small freezer (looked new), small microwave, desk & chair and king size bed. There was an adjoining area with bathroom sink & counter with a coffee maker, hairdryer, iron, ironing board, and a bench for travel bags. The bathroom was small but adequate (good shower volume). Excellent price and was perfect for our needs for a 1 night stop on the way to Florida. A continental breakfast was available but we left early so did not partake. Of note, we went to the Thai House Restaurant just across the street which served excellent Thai and Asian food. We would stay here again.

Good but…

This place is a hidden gem in Santee. That said, the outside of the front entrance and both parking lots are horribly rundown. The rooms are renovated and clean. The bed and water pressure in the shower is fantastic. For a solo stay, perfect for me.
