Hotel was nice and clean, and the staff were professional and helpful. The hotel is a little isolated, being some distance from Onimichi station and the city center, but there is a free shuttle to the station.

Convenient location. Staff was accommodating. The shuttle service from the train station was a huge plus. We also enjoyed our dinner at the hotel restaurant.

Very convenient, walkable area. The shuttle bus was a huge plus. The shower/bath was heavenly. Front desk staff was very accommodating.

Everything was very clean and the staff was kind, attentive, and helpful. We used the shuttle bus upon arrival (though only a 10-15 minute walk, so you don’t have to use it) and ate dinner in the Japanese restaurant which was delicious. A quiet pleasant stay overall.

Good base for island hopping
Wonderful to make use of free bike rental. Convenience store very close by was useful. Nice bar with views out to sea and good happy hour prices.

A pleasant stay.
We stayed in two different rooms. The first was very cheap but felt rather cramped. It just had one double bed. The second stay had two double beds and felt a lot more spacious, but cost nearly double the price. The people at the desk were very friendly and the restaurant offered reasonably priced meals.

Great Hotel, Quiet Area
Great lobby and nice views. Not sure if it’s Imabari in general or this area but the town is very quiet and most stores close rather early,

Thank you for the comments. The city of Imabari is about 60 km south west with the high way from Onomich in the Ehime prefecture. Most of the stores runs by senior in Onomichi. So I guess they don’t want open the business until late. That’s not attractive for tourists is it? I hope you enjoy the rest of the trip in Japan.

Good Wi-Fi, a little out of the way but free shuttle available to and from the station on a set schedule, good air conditioning, kind and helpful staff! Clean and very spacious rooms. Cute sushi bar a block away!

This hotel is good for both business and tourism use. I stayed here to see around Onomichi sceanary, it was enogh for my purpose. Staff were polite, and always smiled. The bewakfast was nice Japanese style, but if I had stayed longer than 3 nights, I might have been tired, because it was almost the same everyday.

Nice staff
Can book shuttle to station and senkoji, recognise customers well, helpful and nice staff, have welcome drinks while check in and even give us hand warmer while we check out, its so warm for this very cold winter

Ask them for the train shuttle bus schedul
The hotel has a shuttle bus that pick up from the train station a couple time each hour. Email the hotel and ask for the pick up time schedule.

Stay for one night
As we drove in this trip, the hotel is a bit far away from the station, but it's not a problem for us. The staff at the counter was very helpful and patient. We were in a hurry during this stay, hopefully we could come visit again later.

Great town so so location
This is a typical middle of the road Japanese 3-3.5 star hotel. Clean and well appointed with smallish rooms. Some English spoken. Downside is that it's a little away from the main sites and a hike from station. But there is a regular transfer to & from station etc. try the ramen restaurant just around the corner from the hotel.
