「When is a resort not a resort? In this case, when it doesn't provide any facilities outside the room. There's a rooftop bar in summer but nothing at other times. Staff were pleasant but breakfast was limited and when we asked for a second cup of coffee we had to pay for it. The room is large but was taken up by 4 double futons and a massive hanging screen for projecting TV/video. We felt it was intended for a large group who wanted to watch DVDs all day. The cost would have been fine split 8...

「We had one of the tents, which was very comfortable and unique. Excellent staff, and the dinner served outside our tent on a private BBQ was incredible. Also the best breakfast we had in Japan. We rode from Onomichi almost all the way to Imabari, then turned around and rode to Wakka, getting there by 4 pm (good decision because it started to sprinkle rain.)
