"The room was very nice and clean. The cleaning staff and the management appear to be very dilligent. The Breakfast was quite good although the line for the wafflemaker can be quite long. The attendant for the self serve breakfast was very kind and made us feel welcome. Although it was packed in the breakfast area you somehow felt like you were at home and there was a sense of comraderie with the other guests. The negatives in regards to the breakfast is that the coffee cups are tiny. I don't know if it's a diliberate choice but regardless if you are having tea you are essentially wasting a tea bag everytime you make a cup since you are getting approximately 100ml. You also have to pay for parking which seems to be standard in downtown Winnipeg but I can still say that is obviously unwelcome. The experience at time makes you feel like you are being nickeled and dimed. You do not get a water provided to you unless you use the tap or pay 3 dollars at the concession. Overall it was a good experience. If it wasn't for the monetization packed into every interaction with an element of the hotel it would be a very welcome and comfortable stay."

"Parking costs extra. This changed since our last stay and was a surprise when we arrived. Hoped they would waive it for us but they did not. Facility is nice and new and clean. Our shower base felt soft and spongy which was a bit unnerving. It creaked and groaned like it was rotting underneath. but otherwise everything was in great condition."
