「Prior to arriving the owner messaged telling me he wanted an additional €15 for bedding and towels…which wasn’t a problem until I got there and the towels were stained and the bedding smelt like it had been on the bed since 1940. He then asked for an additional €100 deposit just incase anything was broken while we were there! On entering the apartment I noticed all the windows open and he was obviously trying to air the place out as it smelt old and unused! There was cobwebs all over the walls...

「I really wish it had been a better experience. The photos shown are nothing like what we found, and this should be stated on the website, since there are two very different buildings. We had to walk up four flights of stairs because there’s no elevator. The room I booked looked like it hadn’t been maintained in decades.
