Middle Ocoee River where the 1996 Atlanta US Summer Olympics were located.
Must see. The fall colors are gorgeous. Long dirt road to the entrance and short hike to bridge.
Peaceful and calming
Near this tiny, but great campground you can find multiple streams with plenty of trout, stocked USFS, and can walk up all of these steams and find multiple cascades. It's a wonderful little hidden gem of a campground, but only 9 campsites (first come first serve) so cone first and get the site that backs up to the stream.
The Ocoee Whitewater Center, near Ducktown, Tennessee, United States, was the canoe slalom venue for the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, and is the only in-river course to be used for Olympic slalom competition.

Hotel was nice but older. There is NO place to just sit or stand at a table and relax. No place inside the casino to talk to friends who don’t gamble. The room was clean and very comfortable but did not have a microwave. Bathrooms are old and both sink and shower never drained right. The age of the place has to do with that. I still give the hotel a solid B
