I would definitely stay again, the hotel has seen better days but it’s understandable, the staff was amazing, the young lady at the front desk was awesome, she was very sweet and accommodating (forgot her name), loved the rooftop pool and hot tub, and sitting on the balcony looking at the church lights at night, my family had a wonderful time and we will book again next summer!

Our room service was terrible. Only once during our 5 day stay did we receive room service. Twice we had to ask the front desk personnel for additional toilet tissue for our bathroom. Only once did we have our trash cans emptied, and only once did we receive clean and fresh towels during our 5 day stay. Additionally, the patio area surrounding the roof top pool was littered, every day, with discarded carb shells and debris dropped from the sea gulls. Only one elevator was available in the entire hotel for five floors of visitor access (4 floors of rooms plus the roof top pool and patio). Only one ice machine was available for 4 floors of rooms. One, out of two, drink vending machines was broken and “out of service.” Parking was very limited, and was located across the street from the hotel in the opposite city block.

An excellent location! Half a block from the boardwalk. The room was clean and smelled good when we checked in. I requested housekeeping every day, called the front desk and stopped by every morning and NOT ONCE in 5 days did housekeeping come. I had to go to front desk on way back from the beach to get towels and any toiletries we were running low on every day. Had to cause a fuss to have someone vacuum twice. Horrible! There is only 1 ice machine in the whole hotel on floor 3 which was annoying. The pool never had towels, so you had to bring your own. I would never stay here again, which is a shame because its a perfect location!

We had 6 people stay in our room we only had 5 towels. I asked they had no more. I went to wash the towels we had so they were clean and the had no laundry detergent. The vending machine did not work could not get a soda. We were walking to the beach and there was a used condom in the alley. The outside of the hotel looks very nice however the inside could use a remodel.

This hotel is not the Ritz, but I didn’t expect it to be. The staff was super friendly and helpful, especially Johnna, the bartender at the roof bar. I would have appreciated more entertainment/beach vibe at the pool, but it was nice and clean and not overcrowded. Housekeeping did not come to our room at all, but I was able to get some clean sheets and some coffee from one of the housekeepers that I saw in the hallway. Location is perfect! I would stay here again.

- [ ] No house cleaning service the entire time we were there, never even saw a house cleaner type person at all. Heard people on the 3rd floor complaining as well so it wasn’t just us. - [ ] There was an onion ring on the floor by the bed the night we checked in, so I was highly suspicious of how well the room was cleaned before we occupied it - [ ] The safe was broken but fixed promptly - [ ] No shampoo/conditioner in the shower the bottles were empty, never replaced even though we asked multiple times. - [ ] The shower curtain was disgusting. It was pink, moldy & smelled awful. We asked 3x to have it changed. Never changed, I myself took it off the bar so it would have to be replaced for the next hotel guest. - [ ] We asked for towels at least 2x on Saturday & finally brought to our room 4 hours later. - [ ] There is mold on the ceiling of the shower, spray some bleach on it in between guests. - [ ] The trash was overflowing, we brought the trash down the front lobby ourselves. I had high hopes, the location was good, very centrally located. The roof top pool was cool, the view was amazing. The pool itself is only 3 feet deep. The roof top bar is a nice feature but separate from the pool, so not really able to sit & have a drink & watch the kids swim. The bar closes at 8pm but you are able to use the chairs & area on the roof until 10pm. I understand that we are near the water and the rooms are always musty & damp, but we have never had any experience like this before

Hotel was meh at best. We had to switch rooms because they put us in a room that hadn't been cleaned. The next room wasn't much better. We couldn't get housekeeping to save our lives. We had to ask for towels and bedsheets to do it ourselves. They didn't have detergent for the laundry or change for the machines. We also got a parking ticket as we had to park in the overflow parking lot. Front desk took our information and said it would be taken care of but we have yet to receive a callback confirming it was all set. With the amount of hotels nearby, I suggest staying somewhere else. We stayed at another hotel about a mile down the road as we wanted to extend our stay and it was 1000% better and cheaper. Posting this to help those with families avoid the same hassles we did.

Hotel Monte Carlo was not the cleanest, had to call made service multiple times before actually getting what we need. Carpets very dirty, sofa bed very dirty. Bathroom very dirty. I tolerated the stay! parking is across the street & another down the street, parking spaces are very very narrow.

It was clean and convenient for being near the boardwalk. One very slow elevator, an ice machine on the third floor, no attendant at pool bar during our two night stay. No towels for the pool available. No linens for pull out bed. Not enough washcloths/small towels for number of guests. No body/hand soap in bathroom. It was clean and AC was good. Nice refrigerator.

The property in a good location front desk polite however on our second day we asked multiple times throughout the day about house keeping and was told they would come around , or they have to checked out rooms first by 6 pm still our room has not been serviced on top of that no towels . Was told they will bring up and never did .
