Casa Sofi is lovely. It’s beautiful and very centrally located. The welcome we received from the manager (Gerardo) was really special. And he was helpful in getting us a 2nd key to our room, and booking a taxi and a tour for us during our stay. We were there for a a week and could walk pretty much anywhere in town. We’d definitely come back to Casa Sofi.

Gerardo was amazing! The house is absolutely stunning. Everything was top notch and very comfortable. The location was incredible for walking around the city. There are four rooftop bars less than a block away.

Casa Sofi is in very convenient location. Very clean and nice house. It is hybrid between and airbnb and a hotel. Rooms eere clean every day

MUST STAY! If available, don't wait, book it. We spent 6 day days in Oaxaca at Casa Sofi and had a phenomenal experience. The hotel is conveniently located and walkable to all of the City Centro sights and culture, in addition to being spotlessly clean, artistically designed with all of the modern comforts, and the communication with the hotel staff (Gerardo) was seamless in both English and Spanish. We were also travelling with a toddler, and Casa Sofi had a brand new crib available for our use which made travelling that much easier. 10/10 would recommend!

Casa Sofi is a perfect home away from home for enjoying Oaxaca city and everything it has to offer. The beds are super comfortable, decoration is beautiful and it’s quiet at night for sleeping. I really loved the courtyards and reception room as you walked in - I like to experience a city as if I live there, so for me this was perfect, as I could come and go as I pleased and the key / security system was super easy to use - and I felt safe and secure. Jirardo (the host of casa Sofi) is excellent and was super helpful, organising a private driver / guide at short notice for me to go to Hierve el Agua and Mitla - and also an excellent mescal tasting on my first night. The only small things I would add would be conditioner for washing hair in the bathroom and English breakfast tea in the kitchen… and that’s it!

Highly recommend staying at Casa Sofi for your trip to Oaxaca. Excellent host that greeted us with the best tasting Mezcal. The room is very comfortable and the property is centrally located to everything. The grounds itself is very clean and safe. There is a communal kitchen that has everything to prepare a meal or store your leftovers in the refrigerator. Can’t wait to go back.
