The staff was friendly and help us purchase the El Camino pilgrim passports to collect our stamps. They helped us even though we arrived late and they have a great restaurant with very delicious food just next door where you can request your first stamp. Right on The Camino start, you guys are ten out of ten"

"Loved the parador!! The room was extremely spacious and comfortable. Slept like a queen. It was wonderful after a long day of horseback riding nearby. Dinner was very nice. Service was excellent. Breakfast service was disappointing- the servers were not as friendly or attentive as I would have liked and forgot our egg order. They apologized but by the time we received them it was late and we had to go."

"Great parador in the middle of town. The pool was refreshing in the hot weather. When reserving take the “media pension” ( breakfast and dinner included) it will save you money. A must visit is the winery Regina Viarum producing excellent white Godello and red Mencia wines from Ribera Sacra. Also a must is the Catamaran Rio Sil tour either the canyon side or the vine forked on the slopes."

"Beautiful hotel right as you enter Portimarin on the Camino . We were made very welcome by Sylvia . Our room was spotless ( as was the hotel ) , comfortable bed and lovely room - quiet enough to get a great nights sleep. Breakfast was buffet style and just enough before we set off on our travels . Coffee excellent. I would definitely recommend here ."

"Over all excellent, from booking to check in to check out. Monica is AWESOME! Communication was excellent. Our train from Ourense was cancelled and travelled by bus. Right away, I mssg Monica that we will be coming very late in the evening. The place was closed from the bus drop off. She assured us that, she will be wait for us until we can check in and walked to our room. Through out our trip, she was there communicating with us. The room was great and we have a very good sleep. Check out was quick. We will definitely recommend this place to our friends and family and for all those looking for Place to stay in Sarria."

"The hotel was very nice, and my room seemed quiet until 4am, then some drunk started banging on a door somewhere nearby and shouting in Spanish to let him in. Eventually the noise stopped, but that was my nights sleep destroyed. Other than that, the stay was very good."
