Reception and rooms are on the higher floors of a building. Not an issue with the elevator. Room was basic but clean and comfortable. Convenient location close to the train station and the heart of town. We would stay in this hotel again.

This was a last minute reservation and we’re so happy we found this place! Great location with lots of dining and shopping options, near the Christmas market, parking was nearby, decent and clean room and staff was friendly! Would definitely stay again!

The hotel has a great location and everything is in walking distance, the staff was friendly and helpful. The room had a good size. There was a weird small in my room but one can open the window which helped. Overall I would come back!

Quaint sweet hotel

Great little hotel, close to the christmas market. Parking was a little awkward, but the parkhaus was very cool. We took a few minutes to drop off luggage at the front of the hotel then i went to park.

Excellent accommodation in Old Nuremberg. Wonderful location surrounded by shops, cafes and bars. Staff were friendly, room was clean, tidy and spacious. Would recommend.

Very pleased

This hotel was amazing located right in old town and a short walk to everything. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast had the perfect variety. The best thing about Hotel Gideon is the staff. They went above and beyond and did the best they could with any of my requests. I highly recommend you stay at this property.

Excellent location, honest employees

A lost wallet was found by hotel staff and I was notified in time to retrieve it before I had to depart. Cash and cards were all accounted for; kudos to the staff for their integrity! The rooms a bit basic but were a good value for the affordable rates. The location is a good compromise between the train station and the old city attractions, we enjoyed the beautiful city.

Great hotel. Came In late at night after hours and had easy instructions on how to get our key from the safe. Great rooms, clean . Only problem was we weren’t able to stay another night .

Brilliant location - walkable to main Xmas markets, train station, the Castle and lots of shopping/food, staff were lovely, room was a good size and overlooked one of the lovely streets with Christmas decos. Really happy with this hotel and would stay here again for sure.

Nice stay of 3 nights with an initial glitch -upon arrival my room was only half -cleaned, with fresh (i hope) sheets on one mattress, no sheets on the other, and a used plastic cup in the bathroom. The garbage had been emptied and towels replaced so i guess the housekeeper had run out before finishing? Minimal amenities--shower gel but no shampoo, no English on TV. Safe and convenient location, kind staff, and very quiet room made for a restful sleep.

Nice hotel in the old part of the city within easy walking distance from the train station. Hotel staff were good, especially the German lady at breakfast most days. Beds were a little hard for me. Plainly decorated if at all. Otherwise a good place. Breakfast was fine but the same every day. Good value. Thanks
