「The property was just lovely the breakfast was yum the staff were all helpful and polite. What truly let the experience down was, The room really needs the furniture re-varnishing it was really worn and scratched truly let the room down. Also the lamps are not bright enough the room was really dark and there was no lamp on the dressing table ?? There are ceiling lights but these were too bright and ruined the ambience. The carpets are really in need of a good clean throughout. Real Shame about...

「One night stay, room(plum porter) much bigger than photos , clean comfy and in keeping with the building. Staff very friendly, beer spot on food good. We didn't want breakfast as we were going for lunch, just. Suited us. Lovely little village, church peaceful, sound of the bells chiming, like going back in time. Nothing we didn't like, beautiful hanging baskets, beer terrace, a very popular, dog friendly pub, thanks.」

「The staff at the hotel were all friendly and helpful during our stay. The breakfast was fine for the price (£9 full, £6.99 continental buffet), with limited choice, but all branded and nicely set out. The room was basic and in need of a bit of a refurb, but again for the price and for one or two nights at short notice was absolutely fine. Would stay there again and probably make more use of the pub/restaurant which was busy both nights. Hotel very dog friendly too b」

「We stayed at the Pilsley Inn for one night to see Chatsworth on our way to Manchester. The pub food and service were great. We had 2 meals (dinner and breakfast) and both service and food were really very good. Servers and staff were attentive and hospitable. The location is also excellent. We stayed in Dunsa in the main building and unfortunately felt a bit catfished by the room considering the price (~$280 USD.)
