「Renovated smaller Hotel and super clean room. We were amazed. The Hotel is in a very quiet area with plenty of parking. No elevator due to the small size of Hotel. Check -in clerk was not very welcoming. Suggestion: A warm hello and a smile go a long way especially when working at the Reception desk. Check-out clerk was amazing. Would definitely stay here again when in the Gatineau/Ottawa area.」

「Host is awesome. The house decor is unique and interesting to see the things collected on the host's travels. Breakfast was delicious. The only negative experience was the size of the bed. We booked the room that advertised a king sized bed, and it wasnt a king. It was two double mattresses pushed together. The drawback of this was my feet dangled off the bed all night long. I have a king at home and was hoping to achieve the same level of comfort. Other than that, everything was wonderful. 」

「Walking distance from the village of Wakefield, yet it felt like it was in the middle of nowhere. The staff were friendly and 100% bilingual. The rooms were clean and well appointed. The restaurant food was great and the sound of falls in background created a nice ambiance. The wooden exteriors of the building are starting to show their age, but that was the only negative I can think of. We will return.」
