There is a nightclub downstairs. It was very noisy and in an unsavoury part of town. The stairs to the rooms are steep and narrow.

Cheap and cheerful, so fine for one night in central Norwich at half the price of the Travelodge across the road. Room and bed were fine, though the double glazing needs updating and the bathroom needs upgrading and cleaning. Entrance is via a buzzer door on right of Nightclub below. Fortunately club wasn’t open midweek otherwise it would probably be very noisy. The outside street was very noisy and rowdy until about 1am. Overall it was very fair and affordable.

Only good thing was it's distance from railstation...hotel was dated and very depressing and above a nightclub...rooms on floors 1 & 2 no lift...no breakfast available although supermarket opposite

Check in was closed at 7 despite being open until 9. Their phone number was dead and no one answered the door. Only because a kind guest gave me some contact details I was able to check in. Lights flickered, the shower shot out the bottom and was a dribble and half the plug sockets didn't work. Other than that it was a fairly clean room with a comfy bed. Tea and coffee was appreciated but the check in kinda set the mood for the stay.

It has reputation of being noisy, especially on Friday & Saturday nights when the nightclub below the hotel is in full swing. However, although it is noisy, I was given earplugs by the reception staff and I slept reasonably well. I was in room 5, to the rear of the hotel at the rear, and it was very quiet on the other nights.

We only stayed one night and it was excellent value for money. It was a Friday night so the nightclub downstairs was open but the noise didn't bother us. Room was warm with a TV and also a well stocked tea and coffee tray. The bathroom was also clean.

returning customer, my go to place in Norwich, , excellent position, close to the train station, plenty of bars and eateries and a Tesco right opposite. The building is not new, the furniture might seem dated but very functional and no visible defects and had a very good sleep , very comfy bed and all linesn and bathroom and everything else very clean. I will be back

The good thing was that the shower worked it was also quiet ,which it probably would not be on a Feiday nor Wedneaday. Poor things were ,no lift, TV did not work and there was a lot of confusion or argument about the bill.

Nothing. Not really a hotel but rooms above a ? pub? night club. Very noisy, loud music until after 3am. No lift service and rooms are on the 1st and 2nd floors. Old building.

There has been some bad reviews about this hotel, but I had a nice stay, bed was clean and comfy, toilet and shower were OK. For the price I was not expecting much but I was pleasently surprised.
