"The room and bathroom were on the smaller side but spotless and up to date. Easy parking right outside the door and walkable all around the downtown area of Bayfield for shops and restaurants. Very close to the Madeline Island ferry dock. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful."

"Sarah was very pleasant, professional and helpful upon check in. Otherwise one elevator didn't work and the hotel restaurant canceled our reservation for no reason, apparently a computer glitch. They lost over $150 as went then went to another place."

"Historical, and I'm glad I stayed there. The bed I was in room #303 absolutely reeked, which honestly wasn't a huge surprise considering its age and how thin the mattress was. Would I go back? Probably I really liked everything else. The restaurant on the first floor for breakfast was top notch, the staff was great and nice to me on anything I needed or asked. A great place but dated and that's okay."
