Doric Bungalow is located on the edge of a cliff pointed towards the sea. This is the house of the first Governor of Sri Lanka. The ruins say how strong it used to be in the past with thick brick walls. It is absolutely a great bungalow with the view of the Indian Ocean around.

"The property is a newly built house, great design, very ill maintained. Smelly blankets, no bedsheet between the blanket and your body. Uncleaned rags in front of the bathroom. No tea-coffee and hot water kettle in the room, no water bottle in the room. I paid $43 for my stay, seems there are better options nearby at half the price."
