"The Villa Serena is a quaint property in old historic Mazatlan. When you arrive you get a feel of old country living with the courtyard and all the beautiful tiles. There are several restaurants in the area so finding a decent meal was easy, although we were there for the eclipse and the town was overwhelmed with tourists, so finding a meal wasn't as easy as it would have been normally. "Person in charge is very responsive, generally clean, a little more cleanliness would be better, needs to readjust the front door lock, feels a little loose. Beach access and pools are awesome feature, highly recommended. "

"I was expecting a hotel. I had to wait outside of the apartment style house for someone to show up and allow me access. The apt had a door with glass slats that allowed anyone walking by to look in. There was a foul odor in the restroom like some kind of sewer backup. I would have stayed a couple more days but did not like it at all. "

"The pool area is nice condo was dirty out dated toilets leaked and showers flooded. WE LEFT EARLY WENT TO HOTEL NEXT DOOR. "

"I’ll not rent again this property / the TV never works - looks different vs reality . It was not an apartment as is published / it was a room part of a house and the house has sell sign on it. I’ll not recommend it "
