"This is such a little gem on Lake Tahoe. The property is beautifully maintained and the rooms are very clean. The highlight of our stay was the private beach area and pool. You can’t beat the location and serene environment especially in the busy summer months. There was a small hiccup with our booking but the staff were quick to ensure we were comfortable and happy. We will definitely be back! "
"The hotel was beautiful, set back in the trees on the slopes so very quiet and outside of town. The beds/rooms were very comfortable, quiet and spacious. The staff was very nice and welcoming. The only complaint I had was that the main pool/pool restaurant were closed for renovation. This wasn’t noted during booking or on their website. They did offer use of the smaller spa pool with poolside service from another restaurant but it was quite a bit smaller. Overall it was a beautiful stay. "

"A favorite. Love the small town of kings beach and staying at the Crown makes the stay comfortable. The rooms are clean and spacious, and you have beach access. What more could be asked. "
"I enjoy the reasonable pricing, quietness, great location and friendly customer service. The hotel is a throw-back, it's older, an original. I like that it still has the old Tahoe vibe and is always clean. I stay here frequently and it's always a clean bed to sleep in, and easy walk to the beach, easy parking and my Granddaughter loves Char Pit is next door, great burgers. Our routine is long beach day, burgers at Char Pit and then off to bed. Love it!"
"Overall stay is good and lodge is cozy and a large size of kitchen with full utensils to use, which are very convenient.
A few things that the management may think to improve: the washer and dryer, especially the dryer is not clean and some dust even coins left inside the dryer. Customer service phone number is not reachable the day after Xmas so there is nobody to answer our questions."
