「Proper traditional English hotel! Centre of Hartlepool. Reception staff very friendly as were cleaning staff I met. Quiet despite location and easy walking distance to transport networks.」

「Not a good a place」

「The place was clean, tidy and quiet; the manager friendly and helpful. However, it is pretty basic. There's no thermostat in the room so I wasn't able to warm it up. The main issue was I was unable to have a hot shower on the morning. The manager offered for me to use the shared bathroom but in the second morning, the shower wouldn't get hot. So I think with a little improvement it could be worth the price. 」

「Nice and friendly staff, free car park. The mattress should have been replaced years ago and was very uncomfortable. No sound insulation between the rooms so you can hear everything going on in the rooms above and each side. The hotel bar was like walking into the bar in star wars, so we eat at a local restaurant nearby 」

「The place isn't clean,the doors aren't functional,the service,no access to clean water,had to use water from toilet,which are not very clean,the Lady is very old,fogetful,spent standing in the cold cos she didn't me the access code,terrible place.」

「Actually, the process of booking through Hotels.com the claim of everything must be handled by the hotel is not true. They are not in control of the booking. Hotels.com is in control of the booking so they were not able to amend or cancel the booking and the customer service reps consistently would refer me back to Premier Inn, which had nothing to do with booking the stay」

「We were visiting friends so only stayed 1 night. Room was clean and bed comfy. Breakfast was really nice. Full English beautifully cooked and perfect poached eggs! 」

「Lovely clean and friendly seaside hotel」

「Basic but clean and comfortable, decent value for the price. Each apartment is 2-bed so kitchen and bathroom are only shared with one other guest room. Was upgraded from single to a double for no extra charge. The people upstairs were up all night but that could happen anywhere.」

「The staff were so friendly and helpful. Updated me when they had changed my booking due to maintenance works. It was overall a lovely stay.」

「Radiators not warm, did not stay. Too cold in the room. Manager said no other room available. I asked for a refund. Not good enough for a 3 star.」
