"You get why you pay for. We just needed a cheap stay for one night. The toilet seat was loose and falling off. The hallway smells like straight up cigarette smoke, and floors were a bit dirty. Pillows were super small (one per head basically). We didnt use the shower but I did look inside and the drain plug was just chilling in the middle, not in the drain where it should have been. A bit weird but not awful. Front staff was very nice. We did sleep well. Beside the floor, toilet, and piece of hair on the blanket we found when we walked in it wasn’t terrible, but not superb. "

"Love this updated period hotel. New and comfortable beds, bathroom. Great downstairs lounge areas. Old heildeberger basement level bar had some low key appeal as well. If a space that captures the past is interesting to you, this is the place for you. "

"My room was not ready on time. If it wasn't for a friend staying there as well,i would have been late to a wedding. "

"Everything was excellent! My only comment is that there were many piles of roomservice dishes left in the hallway for over 24 hours ( not mine) "

"No shops immediately nearby, but close enough. Heat and AC worked perfectly and powerfully. Bathroom nicely and intelligently appointed with a nightlight. Immediate presentation of room is attractive, soothing and up to date with all kinds of subtle lighting. Some scuff marks on furniture near television. All hotels seem to choose this furniture that is vulnerable to scuffing. Parking in garage very close to entrance with easy system. Took ubers to and from dinner at fabulous Zinc Restaurant on Church St. Front desk person friendly and competent. "
