Unbelievable, the staff were so nice and helpful, not a bad thing to say about them. Our Room was outstanding, so comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious, not just a coffee and doughnut, but a hot breakfast with eggs, sausage the works...

Nice inn located in a 200 year old house. Rooms with comfortable beds, no tv, but they do have WiFi. Food is very good and the couple that owns and runs the inn is very friendly and accommodating. Some quirks like squeaky floors and no locks on the doors just add to the charm. Nice fireplace and outdoor deck. Coffee is excellent too. Very nice place to stay you have something going on in the area, or if you want a relaxing low key vacation in picturesque Vermont or nearby upstate NY.

Completely amazing. I've been working in the area for two months and ive stayed at several hotels in the area. Silver Bay is, by far, the most comfortable, cleanest and friendliest. I'll be in the area for another week or two and I'm already booked for this week. I'd like to add that the bed was the most comfortable and their towels, the fluffiest. Housekeeping removes the trash and replaces used washcloths, towels, and bathmats daily. The shower was amazing and I've slept the best here. Five...

Stunning property and view, Comfortable bed, Great restaurant. Only con was hidden fees beyond what we paid on ecpedia.

Extremely clean, friendly staff, beautiful accommodations, very crisp new linen & towels, excellent location on the lake, very cute and decorated nicely. New wood floors, great kitchen area with bar stools. Super convenient in every way. We usually bring our own dishes, and pillows, and none of that was needed. VERY clean! Super !

Owners were very nice. The room and bathroom were very clean. Beautiful area of Vermont. Felt very safe staying here. Would recommend.

I stayed in the "Spring Room" this visit. It was spacious, near the coffee station and had a relaxed yet beautiful decor. A breakfast of fresh fruit, juice, coffee, muffin, omelet, bacon and home fries was served by a lovely hostess. A+ !!!

Our family enjoyed our time at Highland Castle over the 4th of July weekend. Thank you so much John and Yvonne!

Second time back. Great country inn with wonderful breakfast and friendly, accommodating staff.

Nice and clean place. Staff were very friendly.

The whole experience here was great for my overnight stay. The property was convenient to find, the check in was smooth, and the room was clean and spacious. Highly recommended.

I booked at this motel at the last minute and was very apprehensive because I usually don’t stay in motel. It, since my last minute stay was for one night and the reviews were good, I said ‘hey’ why not. I’m only going to stay overnight! Needless, to say the good reviews this place received were right on point. I was truly surprised by the courtesy and efficiency of this small family owned motel. Room was cleaned and had absolutely everything needed. The candy store couple doors down & candy...
