"Moon Palace Jamaica is a stunning resort — gorgeous pools, beautiful beach, excellent food and drinks, and warm attentive staff. We had a genuinely great time and would likely go back. That said, a couple of things need to be said honestly. Our arrival was rough. They mixed up our room and we waited over an hour to check in after a long day of travel. For a resort at this price point, that kind of disorganization is a poor way to welcome guests and left us frustrated before we’d even unpacked. We were also pulled into what turned out to be a lengthy, high-pressure timeshare sales presentation. It was aggressive and went well beyond what was implied when we agreed to it. Go in prepared to say no — firmly, and more than once. Once we got past those two things, the resort really did shine. The amenities, the atmosphere, the food, and the overall experience were everything we hoped for. Just be ready for a bumpy start and keep your guard up when the “resort orientation” invitation comes around.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​"

"Just got back from RIU Palace Jamaica, and overall this was an amazing trip and absolutely a worthwhile splurge. Jamaica was warm, beautiful, and welcoming, and the staff were truly a standout. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and attentive, our room was kept very clean, the atmosphere was relaxed and fun, the Elite food was excellent, the specialty restaurants were also great, and the location made it easy to walk to the other RIU resorts for parties and activities. We also booked a private van through the lobby desk for a full day of bamboo rafting on the Martha Brae, dinner at a local restaurant, shopping, and the Luminous Lagoon, which was a highlight for our group. The one major issue was an incident at the swim-up bar where a piece of marble fell and seriously injured our friend’s foot, which affected a large part of his vacation. What made it more upsetting was hearing from another guest that this had apparently recently happened before, which suggests it was not a new issue. The lack of concern, compassion, or meaningful follow-up from management/corporate after such an expensive trip from the US West Coast was extremely disappointing. That said, the amazing staff and the beauty of the resort are what we will remember most. It is just unfortunate that the handling of this incident left us feeling that, despite how much we enjoyed so much of the trip, we will likely explore other options in the future."

"I had a great overall experience at this resort. The rooms were very clean and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. There were plenty of activities available, which kept things fun and engaging every day. The beach area was especially nice—it felt almost private and was well set up, making it a great place to relax. The only area that could use improvement is the food. While it was decent, I think the resort could enhance the experience by offering a wider variety of high-quality international dishes to better accommodate guests from different backgrounds. Overall, a pleasant stay and I would definitely consider coming back! 4 star resorts I would say"
