"This is a gem in the downtown area of Virginia Beach. I could not have felt more welcomed or taken care of. I wish I could have stayed longer! And the oysters Rockefeller at C D Shuckers, a block and a half walk nearby, were fantastic, along with the fun crowd! I hope to return soon."

"This was a nice friendly hotel. The pool was nice! Walking distance to the beach and several restaurants. I would've gave it 5 stars but the breakfast does not have any breakfast meat only scrambled eggs no sides. They did have waffles and cereal. "

"Everything was fine the only issue is upon check-in they wanted to charge me $25 extra for checking in 45 minutes early after driving for 15 and a half hours I refused and came back at 3:00 but all this should be disclosed ahead of time"

"Definitely not what I expected because the pictures were not what it really was. Definitely needs a good paid job and remodel. Says it has a snack bar/ deli bar area there wasn’t. Got a kings size bed and only had 2 pillows in it. The bed was not at all comfortable. The refrigerator did not work and the tv looked like it was going out. Had multiple people come to the door saying they got kicked outa their room from the other person. Definitely did not feel safe there. The ac had to be turned all the way down for it to even get cold in the room. They didn’t even have shampoo or conditioner like all the other hotels would have. We got charged when we asked for extra toilet paper. I wanted to ask for a refund but due to the cancellation policy it would have never happened. The doors are an inch to 2 inches off the floors the sheets have burn holes in them. Definitely not what I expected it to be. Hate to say it but to me it felt like a trap house or a prostitution house. I won’t be back there. The view of the beach is great but it definitely needs a lot of updates done to it."
"A gentleman came in and broke the glass door because he couldn't use the worket cell phone. That's type of neighborhood that you're in. Rat in the hall way. Room smelled bad. Pain was peeling on the tub. The room will look nothing and I mean , nothing like the picture"
"I had a wonderful stay here!!! The hotel is write on the harbor. The same side of Waterside as the Spirit of Norfolk and the Ferry. Each are walkng distance from this Beautiful hotel!!! The hotel and it's rooms are clean and comfortable. I melted into my bed after enjoying the brunch cruise on the Spirit of Norfolk. The Valet parking is a bonus!! I highly recommend and I shall return!!!"
"Location was great but that’s it!
We stayed one night.
No hand soap in our bathroom. I requested soap from the first desk and I was told housekeeping would deliver it to our room.
We never received it. Once we checked out and we asked about the soap. The front desk staff said oh we don’t have any!!
Check out time is at 11:00. However, at 9:30 housekeeping started banging on the door asking if we needed services…why? Then, at 10:30 there was more banging on the door followed by a housekeeper entering our room with a key! I told the manager upon check out and she stated she would follow up with housekeeping and security! No apology or empathy for the inconvenience. Not to mention we paid almost $300 for this stay! If we are ever back in Norfolk we won’t be staying here."
"Our King room was fine.(300)But the room next to us, 302 was VERY loud. Slamming their door and laughing in the hallway for about 2 ish hours. I called the front desk at around 10, but it didn’t seem like it was addressed with the guests in 302!!! Sunday morning, the front desk person kept saying coffee would be ready in 10 minutes. 1 hour went by and still no coffee. Left the property to get coffee-very disappointing!!! Trash cans in the hallways were overflowing. The elevator always had standing water in it!
We would stay again just some issues to address!!!!"
