MONday Apart Premium Ueno Okachimachi was a great fit for our stay. It was located right near Ueno and was central to local shopping and eating places, with the train only a block away and grocery stores nearby. The room was clean and nice enough and had bunk beds for the kids as well as a washing machine which was very handy. The only thing was that our room was looking over the train lines so it did get a bit noisy, but after walking through the city all day, we were able to sleep through it with no issues.

Nohga Hotel was lovely. It was quiet & quaint. Very close to the Ueno train station (8 minute walk) & steps from the 7-11 & Lawson. The rooms are very roomy compared to Tokyo rooms. Exceptionally clean & beds were very comfortable. Beautiful restaurant downstairs but unfortunately did not eat there but it was always busy. Highly recommended.

"When I booked this hotel because of a huge Godzilla fan in the family, I was worried it would be more of a novelty hotel. However, the service was exceptional, and the rooms perfectly designed and spacious by Tokyo standards. The Godzilla theming was just the icing on the cake."
