The view from a bridge that crosses over a part of Lake Shiromaru. This lake is part of Tama River, and the water here is especially blue. It's a popular spot for weekend drives and day trips from the city, especially for those who want to treck or hike along the river. Okutama area is also very popular for their fall foliage in November. This is one of my favorite places to get away from the city! Closest station: Shiromaru Station on the Ome Line, approximately 1.5h from Shinjuku.
