While we stayed, the hotel was in transition with work and you had to summon the elevator via calling front desk who would radio the employee in the elevator. "We love the Maui Kaanapali Villas! It is quiet (very important to us), right on the beach--you walk out your door and you are steps from the water, the convenience of condo living with the combination of an onsite restaurant when we need it. The morning coffee service is lovely as well."
