Spent 5 nights here on a work trip. The hotel itself is excellent. It's clean, well maintained and the staff are brilliant. My room was a decent size, and very very comfortable. The food was very good and the room service prompt and courteous. Excellent hotel.

The hotel is well located, a short walk to the Maison Carrée and the Roman Arena. The hotel is elegantly appointed. The bar and breakfast area are glassed in and surrounding a lovely large atrium for alfresco dining and sofas for drinks. Dinner at L’impe was excellent. The staff were great, very professional. One of the best hotel experiences ever! Staff took us on tour of spa and restaurant upon arrival. Astounding three course meal madeleines spring and sparkling water awaited us in room on arrival plus turn down service. Nimes has so much to offer. When we return we will plan a longer visit.

We loved the hotel. The reception staff were excellent - particularly Clemence - and the arrangements for parking were also excellent. However the service for food in the bar area in the evening was slow and the choice of snacks was very limited.

The hotel is wonderful - full off character and charm but still offering all the modern comforts. Location is perfect - easy walking distance to sights and restaurants. The staff were very professional and Pierre was exceptional. He welcomed us to the hotel with a huge smile and went out of his way to make us feel at home. We just had a fabulous time in Nimes and loved staying at the hotel. Would definitely recommend.

Great Location

Great location for visiting Nimes for a few days. Very comfortable hotel but our room was a little small and had too much furniture for the space. Also there was nowhere to store our bags. Service in the restaurant was slow but that seems to be a feature of eating out in France. Staff were helpful and many had good English which was great because our French was very rusty.

OK, putting aside the rather small room (next time I book something bigger), this stay has been by far the best experience when it comes to service, I probably ever have experienced. From the moment we arrived until we left the staff was extraordinary, helpful, attentive and just best-in class. I know many, many other five star hotels which should better send their staff here for training. The rooms are lovely (except the size of our booked category), the bar too and the Duende Restaurant is from another galaxy (they deserve three stars and not the two stars they currently have). The staff at the restaurant is equally perfect as they are at the hotel. A pure bliss to stay here. Thank you very much and until next time!

Amazing property!!! General manager was checking on us every day!!! Super clean, modern. Got a welcome pastry in the room and violet refreshing drink as we checked in!! The drinks are out of this world!!!Amazing staff!!! our 13- and 16-years boys had so much fun in the pools. the complementary candies in the lobby were a big hit. had dinner in the restaurant- amazing!!!super convenient and quiet location. We will definitely stay here again when in the area!!!

Hotel L’Imperator Nîmes set high expectations and did not disappoint. We stayed there, dined there, and hosted a party there. The hotel staff executed very well in all regards. They also helped with dinner reservations, tours/trips, taxis, etc., and we used the outdoor pool and the indoor spa. It’s a great location for seeing the nearby Fountain Gardens, and the Coliseum is maybe a 10-minute walk. We only have one suggestion, and that would be to have a more responsive late night entry procedure for hotel guests to avoid standing outside for 20 minutes awaiting re-entry. We unreservedly recommend the property to travelers!
