「When we arrived we thought we’d come to the wrong hotel. It was like rolling up to the entrance of an old western motel. A gritty, broken up driveway brought us to the main entrance which had a large plain pond with nothing in it - just an unloved body of water which must have, at one stage, had a welcoming water feature, I assume. The bungalow and the veranda offer plenty of space and the kitchen is perfectly equiped - you'll find everything you need if you wish to cook your own meals. Nautilus staff we found dismissive, Muri staff more pleasant. BBQ area is nice but the hot plates are old and barely heat meaning without an over, self catering is challenging. Good proximity to beach and great use of snorkles / kayak / reef shoes etc.」
