"What a lovely lovely guesthouse! We were there for a week, drawn there by the Tiroler Festspiele across the way in Erl, Austria. We didn’t know what to expect but were so pleasantly surprised. While at the hotel we spent time walking and hiking, and visiting nearby places such as the fortress in Kufstein. Every time we returned to the hotel it was a lovely feeling of returning home. It was so clean, comfortable and welcoming. The Schmid family was so kind and helpful. We loved the afternoons...

"We stayed for two nights. The hotel’s photos are misleading they show a newer lakeside property that is actually a different section not included in our booking. For a 4-star hotel, the room was very basic: no fridge or kettle, and the furniture felt old and cheap. While the room was clean and breakfast was excellent, the overall experience did not justify the price. Access from the parking is also inconvenient, with multiple doors and stairs, making it difficult with luggage. Overall, it felt...
