"We enjoyed. Thank you for my daughter’ s bday decorations. It was big surprise and fun. Everyone was helpful and friendly. First room we stayed at was on the ground floor and we found many bugs in our room including a lizard. The staff were very accommodating and gave us a different room. Thank you."
"Breakfast was on par with the food we had in Miraflores but most of the other food left a lot to be desired. Just not flavorful with the exception of the ceviche which was good.
Overall a nice stay at the resort and we enjoyed the pools and facilities. There were empty plastic cups floating in the pool toward the end of the day once, though.
Direct access to the beach was very nice. Staff was wonderful and helpful. The towel limitations were annoying."
"The property was very clean and the recent renovations definitely improved the room amenities, etc. In order to get around, there is a lot of walking involved. This is something to keep in mind for those with limited mobility. There was a festival going on the latter part of our stay that overtook the resort. If you’re looking for tranquil and quiet, I would research the time you plan to go. However, the beach was fantastic and the pools were wonderful! The staff was super friendly as well."
"The hotel was very pretty and we had a warm welcome. Our room had two double beds and a fold out chair. The double beds are just way too small for two people to sleep in comfortably. The shower is open and soaked the whole bathroom every time you used it and it didn’t drain well so everything was wet the whole time. The pool was big and there was plenty of space for people to be at the bar, playing volleyball and to play and tan on the ledges. Unfortunately a storm was blowing through during our stay so the red flag was up at the beach the whole time and the waves were big and powerful and quite intimidating. The breakfast was included and had so many options including the traditional gallon pinto, eggs and several meat options plus pastries and fruit, yogurt and out meal and a separate but included omelette bar. We got bar food service at the pool and the mango ceviche was delicious. The hotel is an easy walk to restaurants and nearby shops. There is a great game room with a small lending library and a movie theatre. We didn’t know that there were bicycles on property until we were leaving and saw some guests riding. It would be really fun because there is a flat path along the beach to ride. We definitely would have taken a ride if we knew. Next time for sure. Staff was helpful and kind. We booked this thinking it would be fun for our teens and they were really happy with the amenities, they played pool and pickleball."
"Our room was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, the ceiling fan didn't work and our slide glass door lock was broken, but being on the 6th floor, it wasn't a problem.
The hotel has a beautiful pool with swim up bar. The breakfast bar was excellent with many delicious local foods, fruits and some traditional American foods like cereal and toast.
The Beach Club is a great place to work out, swim in the pool or spend time on the beach-there are lounge chairs with wait staff service.
The hotel makes it really easy to book tours and get shuttle rides for you for surfing lessons, mangrove tours and more.
Highly recommended!"
"This hotel is peaceful and perfect for a couples vacation. The housekeeping wasn’t really cleaning for example our sheets became dirty instead of them changing the sheets they made the bed up with the exact sheet on opposite side, they left the garbage and the cups of alcohol that were left on the mini fridge. Other than that the property is amazing food is amazing bartenders will have those drinks coming. It wasn’t to crowded as it is a small all inclusive resort. I will definitely be staying there again."
"The property was amazing, for the landscaping to the wildlife. What a great place. The staff was very accommodating and friendly, everyone knew your name and went out of their way to make your stay wonderful."
