Excellent location in Niagara on the lake. Great parking, walking distance to all local eateries and shops. Beautiful location. Not far from Niagara Falls, beautiful scenic drive there. Great Inn to stay.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Very pleasant staff. Clean rooms . Perfect location near the water & restaurants
Very friendly staff. Beautiful, spacious room. Wonderful shuttle service to visit wineries within the historic centre. Perfect location. Highly recommend.
We had a lovely few days here. Great location with a lovely view over the golf course and just a few steps away from the shops and restaurants. The rooms were fab and the staff really helpful.
The property is very quaint and in style with the location. Unfortunately our room was very stuffy and humid. Window would not open and the AC couldn’t handle the humidity. Therefore our sheets felt damp and all our clothes were damp after 2 days.
The restaurant was average, dinner menu was limited and over priced for what you got.
The property was clean and beautiful.
There was no elevator, no coffee maker in the room, the room was extremely small. I had never seen a hotel room so small and the size of a closet. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone unless they go with a carryon or pay for a premium room.
We loved everything about the Charles Inn except our room. Our queen size deluxe room was tiny with one chair that we had to use for luggage. No good space to put toiletries in the bathroom. The breakfasts were wonderful. The staff were very helpful.
Nice clean room. Helpful, friendly staff. Quiet, convenient location. Beautiful veranda to to sit and enjoy a few moments to watch the world go by. Thank you Charles Inn.
Property was gorgeous! The staff were incredibly helpful and the afternoon tea was an incredible experience. The only con was that Netflix didn’t work on our room tv. Overall, I would recommend this spot for anyone looking for a relaxed retreat.
My wife and I got lucky with finding this hotel. We based our decision on pictures and reviews and were very pleased w/ the results. This hotel is within a block or two of the shops and restaurants on or near Queen St, very convenient and sits on the edge of Niagara on the Lake Public golf course, very peaceful setting. The building is nearly 200 years old which adds to the charm. The staff was warm and welcoming on-site dining and drinks are top notch. Amy will take your order and has a load of recommendations for activities and wineries. We would definitely stay here again.
