"First, to acknowledge that the area is in a more rural setting in Uganda, so no big city expectations.
At check-in the staff could not find the reservation, despite being shown the emails. The staff in the restaurant were inattentive and even neglectful, so much so that we walked out, unfed.
The rooms were showing visible signs of neglect and poor maintenance. The cafeteria/ restaurant had a bat flying around in it.
The owner is a wonderful individual, but his property needs some...
