"The owners were such lovely people who absolutely spoiled us with kindness. They were wonderful to our kids and made us a nice breakfast every morning. The room had a double bed and a twin bed. The 4 of us managed to squeeze in just fine. The pool table on the main floor was a great hangout for our family. We had it all to ourselves!! Also it was close to the main strip with great shops and close to the beach. Highly recommended this place!"

"This is a nice hotel well situated for Fistral Beach and for access to the town. Our room had a great view of the sea. We enjoyed the breakfast service with the polite and attentive staff. The housekeeping was a little hard to come by - you need to request it which is fine but nobody told us! However the rooms were very clean. This is an old building which was not designed with AC and whilst we had a fan to keep noir room cool I think it could be inconsiderable in very hot weather. Check out at 11am seems a little early but there is a lounge you can stay in."

"Couldn’t recommend st Bernard’s enough for a stay in Newquay. Not only is it a great location, right in town and by the station but the owners are so helpful too. Breakfast every morning was also delicious and much appreciated. We’ll definitely be back again one day!"
